When The Rock goes out of his way to react to one of your Superstars, you know that you have successfully pulled off an amazing Pay-per view event. While the expectations were sky high for Impact Wrestling considering the new found buzz around Slammiversary, they delivered and then some.
The night saw huge debuts and returns from the likes of EC3, The Good Brothers, Eric Young, Heath Slater and the good old Moter City Machine Guns. Check out this article for more details.

The action complimented the surprises with the Knockouts Championship match between Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace stealing the show.
In addition, the main event featured a fatal-five way match that was the best match that I’ve personally seen in a long time.
While there are a lot of wrestling promotions out there giving you insane looking spots, the level of storytelling in that match was something that WWE and AEW are not providing at this moment.
That includes the inception of a mouth-watering feud between Eric Young and Rich Swann to the amazing story that Ace Austin and Eddie Edwards told towards the end.
Needless to say, the wrestling world recognized this effort. The Rock reacted to a Impact star using his finishing maneuver while Finn Balor paid homage to the new innings of his former brothers.
The Rock responds to “the real world champion”
For a long time now, Moose has been claiming that he is the real world champion in Impact Wrestling. He is even carrying around the old TNA World Championship belt.
Tonight, he defended that title against the veteran Tommy Dreamer. In his victorious effort, he hit an improvised Rock Bottom on Dreamer at one point. Moose would use the opportunity to give Dwayne Johnson shout out.
To everyone’s surprise, The Rock would actually react to it.
Get it big dog!!! 💪🏾👊🏾

That was not the only praise the event got. Many other big names in the wrestling world decided to respond. Notably, Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary was the number one trend worldwide on Twitter at one point.

As you can see, the entire wrestling world has been put to notice by Impact Wrestling. They have the roster, they have the attention and the only thing that stands in their path is their tendency to self-emplode.
Impact has had the momentum many times in the past but they tend to falter at the last lap. Do you think that this is the beginning of a new revolution for Impact Wrestling? Let us know in the comments section.
