Dwayne Johnson is one of the best wrestlers when it comes to mic skills. There has never been or never will be someone at the level of Johnson in WWE or any other wrestling promotion. But one of the best parts of his WWE career was not the matches or the storylines, it was his mic segments. Every week there would be The Rock in the middle of the ring with nothing but a mic.

The crowd was insane for these moments. It acted as a refresher for the public from the constant action and madness in the Attitude Era. Every week there was someone who gets their verbal a** kicked by the finest wrestler to pick up the mic.

Among these segments, one was where The Rock mimicked the horrible voice box that Kane used early in his career. The voice box was so bad, something that the crowd and The Rock agree, that the mimicry was so hilarious.

And when one fan dug out this segment from WWE TV and posted it on Twitter, there were many others who had so much to say about it.
Fans bow down to the greatest wrestler on the mic, Dwayne Johnson

Truly one of the best ones to ever hold the mic.
The Rock was a Killer on the mic. Idk if he wrote had writers or if he came up with all this "Golden material" on the fly… but bro every week someone's ass got cooked. And it was must see. Definitely one of the greatest to do it if not the absolute best.

There is no need to deny that the ‘Golden Material’ that came out every week was Johnson’s work through and through. No one can fake that level of authenticity on a mic.
He was savage on mic … that era is unmatchable

The Attitude Era produced more than just The Rock, but any company that could bring this single character back to TV wins in this era automatically.
@dantbrown10 @Razza_ goat with a mic!

There is truly no one who could compete for the GOAT on the mic from before or after The Rock.
@TheRock surely the feeling in the ring is the best ever? To have the audience eating out the palm of your hand. Must be so exhilarating.
— Man of Steven S/ 🎃 (@stebob1984) September 4, 2022
He didn’t just have the audience eating out of the palm of his hand, but he also had everyone backstage as well.
@ginner198 the all time classic

Even Dwayne Johnson might have forgotten about this absolute classic moment form his career.

He was, he is and he will always be money on that mic as he has shown his chops in Hollywood as well.
How he doesn't break character is crazy https://t.co/HraWksCNte

It is impossible for anyone to do this because of the way The Rock continued, even after that thunderous response is impossible.
