The Rock revealed that was the only time he felt emotional delivering his infamous Rock Bottom. Hence, he paused before executing it, to soak in the moment, to embrace what it represented.

“The first and only time I ever felt a little emo delivering a rock bottom. Which is why I paused before going up w Steve. What it represented. The end of a career that belonged to the GOAT who led the greatest era in pro wrestling. #tyscsa”

This was one of the rare times that Johnson commented on WWE’s social media posts. Clearly, this moment meant so much more to him than words can express.

The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin headlined three WrestleManias

The first was WrestleMania 15. At this event, The Texas Rattlesnake defeated The Rock and marked his re-establishment as the top Superstar in WWE. Moreover, it helped set up more matches between Austin and The McMahons.
