Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock has always remained humble regardless of the fame he earned. He proved this during The People’s Choice Awards 2021. Johnson was voted The Best Male Actor as per The People’s Choice. When he accepted his award, he explained why the connection to his audience means more than the award.

“I’m a lucky and grateful man right now. I’ll tell you why. When you strip this [award] away, it really comes down to the connection I have with the people. The connection I have with you guys. So, it’s not lost on me. I want to thank you guys so so much for the votes.”

“Thank you to my little baby girls, Jasmine and Tiana, who are home right now. They are watching. They’re just trying to figure out what being famous means. And, I’m gonna tell them now cause they’re watching. As I always tell them, the most important thing about being famous is to be kind.”

The fact that he is teaching this to his daughters from an early age is evidence that he strongly believes in these values. Dwayne Johnson never fails to impress the fans!

“So to me, there’s a battle that’s going to go down one day, between Black Adam and Superman. I don’t know who that Superman is going to be, and I don’t know who’s going to play him. That’s OK. I don’t need to know right now. But I’m confident in knowing that [laughs]. And that’s based out of what fans want. We worked backwards from there.” H/t GamesRadar
