What did The Rock exactly say to Stone Cold Steve Austin on his final match?

The Rock and The Texas Rattlesnake collided for the last time at WrestleMania 19 in 2003. Before this, whenever The Rock and Steve Austin faced at WrestleMania, Austin had the last laugh on him. But during the last part of the trilogy, Stone Cold finally gave the victory to The Rock.

Steve Austin knew that his time with the company had ended. But, among many people, The Great One also knew that it would be Austin’s last battle.

“I whispered to him, ‘I Thank you so much for everything that you’ve done for me.’ And I said, ‘I love you.’ He said, ‘I love you too.’ I hit him on the chest, and I left him in the ring,” The Rock said during an Instagram Q&A.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson defeated Austin after three Rock Bottoms in front of 55,000 people. This was an emotional moment for The Rock, and he leaned toward Austin and thanked him. Even though the duo has had the most significant rivalry inside the ring, The Rock showed true sportsmanship.

The trilogy saga between The Texas Rattlesnake and The Great One!

The Brahma Bull and Steve Austin have headlined 3 WrestleMania together – 15,17, and 19. At WrestleMania 15, many WWE Superstars didn’t want The Rock to headline with The Texas Rattlesnake.

But Stone Cold told Rocky Johnson to not care about anyone and get inside the ring and make money for the company. The Texas Rattlesnake may have won that match, but it was The Rock who won the hearts of the WWE Universe.

When The Great One and Stone Cold battled at WrestleMania 17, they were babyface (good guy). However, Steve Austin won that match with the help of Vince McMahon. This ultimately made The Texas Rattlesnake a heel (bad guy) as he shook hands with the WWE owner.

The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin showed a stellar performance at WrestleMania 17. The trilogy of their feud came to full circle at WrestleMania 19 when, finally, The Great One emerged victorious over Austin.
