“The Story Goes..”: WWE Legend Lays Down the Hard Cold Facts Between Triple H and John Cena During Their Initial Days

John Cena has established himself as one of the biggest names in the industry. He made his WWE debut in 2002, and ever since then has rocked the pro wrestling industry. After years of hard work and dedication, he became one of the top workers in the company. Throughout his tenure, he was an upper-card worker and won multiple titles, and made several achievements. Cena also scripted multiple records. However, during his career, he was known for not putting over talent, and always was a babyface worker.

However, during his early days, Cena was still a tough worker who was given opportunities. But Triple H allegedly did not like Cena, and was jealous of him. Currently, the content head, Triple H himself, is a legend of the game, and has had a career to remember.

Speaking on ‘Cafe de Rene podcast‘, Rene Dupree claimed Triple H was never fond of John Cena and disliked him. He even claimed that feelings of jealousy were involved.

He said, “The story goes that Cena was on the chopping block, right? But I didn’t see that at all.” Dupree continued, “But I know Hunter didn’t like him. Hunter was jealous of him. That’s what it was.” 

During the course of his career, The King of Kings had several feuds, and he was known for burying his opponents. However, he had a major feud with John Cena in 2006, and it was here he put Cena over and helped him turn into the big star that he is today.

Triple H is currently the COO of the company and the content head.

Will John Cena be returning for a fight at WrestleMania 39?

John Cena is one of the legends in WWE and he had an amazing 2022 when he returned for a fight to WWE. He had his only match in the year, against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn while he teamed up with Kevin Owens. The match took place during the final episode of WWE SmackDown, and was eventually won by Cena and Owens.

Recently there have been rumors of John Cena making his return at WrestleMania 39 for a match. Although his opponent for the match has not been confirmed, there are rumors of Cena going off against Logan Paul. While these are just rumors, Cena is also rumored to face Stone Cold. However, fans need to wait and see what unfolds.
