Injuries and botched are two of the primary cons of pro-wrestling. No Superstar has ever gotten away without suffering the impact of a botch or pain of an injury. One of the Megastars who has often come in contact with these is The Undertaker.

Over the years, he has worked against several Superstars and Megastars, and some of those matches have secured a place for themselves in history. One such match which came under the limelight is The Undertaker vs Goldberg on June 7th, 2019.

The Phenom busted open The Icon during the early stages of the match, which possibly concussed him. On the other hand, Goldberg botched a jackhammer which did a number of Taker’s back.

The Undertaker reveals one important reason why his expertise fell short

While talking on the True Georgie Podcast, The Undertaker revealed he probably could have anticipated some of the botches had he been working full-time. But, he only focused on what fans wanted instead of considering what Goldberg and Taker could have done to make the match better.

“One of those things that happen. He’s done that move a million times and I think, I don’t know if he was concussed at that point yet. A part of that is because I’m not working a full schedule at that point, I’m not kicking on all my cylinders where I can recognize the fact that ‘okay maybe we shouldn’t do this’. I’m working of off ‘people are expecting big things because it’s Goldberg vs Undertaker’. It’s the first time we have ever fought. That’s what I’m thinking. Maybe if I was working more often I would have recognized the fact that maybe we shouldn’t do that.”
