Prichard mentioned how Pat Patterson played a vital role in The Rock becoming a WWE superstar in the late 1990s.

He said, “Pat and Rocky [Rocky Johnson] have always been friends for many years and Pat knows the family. Rocky is working out with Dwayne and Dwayne wants to be in wrestling and wants to learn. And Pat was always looking for new talents and he hears about this. He sees him working out, he has got the size, and he has got the look.”

The Undertaker’s former manager admitted Pat Patterson encouraged Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to continue training and helped him get better. He gave The Rock several tryout matches in the late 1990s.
