Following the match, AJ Styles wanted to gift The Undertaker something, but wasn’t sure what was good. He seeked help from Taker’s wife, who suggested a signed pair of gloves.

“I called his wife [former WWE Superstar Michelle McCool] and I was like, ‘Hey, what does he want? Because I need to get him something,’” Styles said. “She was just like, ‘Hey, well, give him your gloves. That would mean a lot to him if you signed a glove.’ I was like, ‘Alright.’ Michelle hooked me up.”

The Undertaker may never return to the ring again

The Phenom unofficially retired from the ring after he lost from AJ Styles at The Boneyard Match. Following that, he officially retired at Survivor Series 2020 where WWE did a full segment for the retirement. Several veteran Superstars came to the ring, and WWE used a hologram of Paul Bearer.

It was a bittersweet moment for the WWE Universe to witness an iconic Superstar retire after providing the fans with three decades of entertainment. In fact, he took his role so seriously that he didn’t break character even when he was out in public.

When he officially retired, everyone knew this was it. However, Triple H revealed he may return to WWE NXT as a coach or trainer. Unfortunately, neither Triple H nor The Undertaker has said anything about it.
