WWE is one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world. Throughout its course of existence, WWE has been essential in helping create the careers of several pro wrestlers and turning them into legends. However, the company has also been known for putting down talent at times. Recently, reports emerged of the company possibly trying to ruin the career of another WWE superstar.

Recent reports from Fightful emerged about the company trying to ruin the career of promising WWE NXT superstar Sarray, after the departure of former WWE NXT GM William Regal back in 2022. Sarray has been a part of WWE NXT for several years now.

NXT is one of the most promising brands in the company and has been instrumental in creating major superstars. As per the latest reports, the 26-year-old would be heading back to her home country, Japan after experiencing a lackluster run in WWE.

What did Fightful report about Sarray’s lack of push in WWE?

Prior to Vince McMahon’s departure from WWE last year, he had cleared the house, and let go of several people. However, among those let go, a few people backed Sarray and wanted WWE to push her. However, after they were let go, the Japanese pro-wrestler became a victim.

FightFul reported that the pro wrestler already has bookings elsewhere, however, WWE is yet to comment on it. The report stated, “We’re told by the spring of 2022, that the writing was on the wall. William Regal’s departure was one that many pointed to as a turning point.”

William Regal was one of the most respectable figures on the roster, and his departure did lead to a lot of changes backstage in the company and about how certain stars were perceived. People from WWE’s Performance Centre also reported that Sarraya had not visited the Performance Centre in ages.

The 26-year-old had joined the company with major hype behind her. However, all of it failed to translate into major success for the star. After an array of several failed gimmicks, the star would now be heading back to Japan, and trying her luck there. Still, in her 20s, she has plenty of time to shine and make a name for herself.
