Drew McIntyre on Paul Heyman

One of the biggest matches for the night will be Drew McIntyre defending his title against Bobby Lashley. McIntyre has his own set of words for the sudden change. The champ appears rather unaffected by Vince’s decision.

He wants what’s best for him in the company. He does mention that Heyman is interesting for him and talks about their last interaction. McIntyre won the title from Heyman’s client Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania this year.

I don’t know the ins and outs regarding creative and I get my creative and go from there”, McIntyre said. “I figure out best what works for Drew McIntyre and the storyline.

“Regarding Paul Heyman, the character is very interesting for myself. The last time we interacted was going into WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar before I defeated him in five minutes in the main event.”

McIntyre also adds that he enjoys jokes with Heyman on the mic before going on to say there’s nobody better than Heyman. The WWE Champion acknowledges that it’ll be tough with Vince making new changes and hopes to see Heyman back.

Drew McIntyre said, “Perhaps Paul Heyman has his eyes on other superstars he wants to bring to Drew McIntyre. Either way, I always enjoy a little joke with Paul Heyman on the microphone.

McIntyre has only begun his reign as a Champion. Losing the title to Lashley would be a major setback for the Scottish Psychopath. Hopefully, the Chairman won’t leave the fans disappointed.
