Although the early 2000s saw WWE purchase WCW and bring it under them. WWE’s purchase saw several superstars jumping ship and joining WWE, such as the famous faction nWo. Several members of the nWo such as Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Buff Bagwell, among others, made the cut and joined WWE from WCW.

Bagwell was an essential part of nWo alongside Scott Steiner. However, after joining WWE, Bagwell failed to create an impact on the roster and would be soon released by WWE. Bagwell recently appeared on a podcast and revealed his current health condition.
The 53-year-old would reveal how he is impending surgery, and also how he is currently leading a straight-edge lifestyle. Several wrestlers from that era would often fall into the world of drugs and substances, and Bagwell would fall for that as well.
However, on the latest podcast talk, he revealed how he has changed the tides and now leads a clean and sober life.
What did Buff Bagwell reveal about his impending knee surgery?
Similar to his former stablemate Hulk Hogan, Bagwell is also suffering from knee problems. Hogan’s knee and back problems are well known however fans were shocked when Bagwell revealed his knee surgery.
He said, “I got a knee replacement getting scheduled to be done within a month. So, I’m getting a knee replacement and that will be done. There’s a light, a big bright light now at the end of the tunnel when there wasn’t any. “ Bagwell further revealed how he is excited about life, and the clean and sober life that he has been leading.

A few months ago, Bagwell provided an update on his knee condition and stated how he plans on returning to the ring soon. However, as per the latest reports, he is waiting to have his knee worked on this month, which means his return is halted.

Bagwell is way past his prime, and making a comeback inside the ring at this age is not a safe option. Hogan, Bagwell, and the other nWo members lost their former nWo stablemate Scott Hall last year, and are currently nursing their own health.
