Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is a multifaceted figure who’s left his mark on the world of mixed martial arts (MMA), acting, and even professional wrestling. He was once a part of Impact Wrestling, formerly known as TNA. TNA wanted to use Jackson as a big name in the promotion, however, the two parties could work it out for various reasons. In the end, Jackson gave up on pro wrestling and often talked about his poor experience with TNA while accusing their poor management of maintaining a rotten relationship.

He said, “I don’t want to talk bad about TNA. But if I am gonna keep it 100%, like I always try to do, I think they are stupid.” He further explained the reason behind his negative sentiments by saying, “They were supposed to train me. They sent the ring to my gym but they never sent anybody over to train me. And they never put over the time to train me.”

The moment in reference was from June of 2013 when he made his debut in TNA. He was expected to be a big star in the company due to his MMA background and sheer size, but in September it was announced that Jackson was pulled off TV, most probably due to his in-ring ability. However, Jackson explained that he was never trained by the company before making his high-profile debut.

In his first appearance, he faced wrestling legend Kurt Angle. Recalling the incident he said, “It was a big news [his debut] and I was so disappointed they didn’t use me like I thought they should have used me. Dude that broke the internet for me [facing Kurt Angle].”
He further stated that he could have been a legend or a Hall of Famer if not for the sour relationship. He said, “I was serious about it. Who knows? I probably would have left MMA and been Ronda Rousey by now.”
