“They Haven’t Given Him a Chance Yet”: Kurt Angle Wants Triple H to Push Forgotten WWE Star, Who Hasn’t Competed Since June 2022

WWE is undoubtedly the top promotion in the professional wrestling industry. It has been entertaining the wrestling fans for more than five decades. The company mainly flourished under the leadership of Vince McMahon. But WWE Universe at times had issues with McMahon, and the reason behind that was not giving a chance to deserving wrestlers.

However, fans are expecting that things will no longer be the same as now Triple H is in charge. Not only fans but several WWE legends and critics also hope for the same. And the WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is also one of them. Lately, he expressed his wish that Triple H should give the deserving push to the forgotten superstar Bobby Roode who was last seen inside the ring in June 2022.

In an episode of his wrestling podcast, ‘The Kurt Angle Show’, the WWE legend held a ‘Q&A’ session. During that, a fan asked Kurt Angle about his views on WWE underutilizing the superstar Bobby Roode.

To this, the WWE Hall of Famer immediately replied that the company hasn’t given him a chance yet. According to Angle, Roode was doing pretty well in the NXT, but the moment he moved to the main roster, his downfall was initiated.

Talking about Bobby Roode, Kurt Angle said, “They haven’t given him a chance yet. He was good in NXT. He was being pushed, utilized properly, not in WWE.”

Not only this, but Angle also expressed his wish to give him a push as soon as possible. The WWE Hall of Famer mentioned that Roode is already in his mid-40s and Triple H should give him the deserving push as he might not be able to compete inside the ring for long.

“Unfortunately for Bobby…….. I don’t know if they’re ever going to do it. That’s what really sucks. Bobby’s at the age now, I think he’s like, what, mid-40s, yeah. I don’t know if he can wrestle much longer, but I hope they do give him the push he deserves.”, Angle continued.

Bobby Roode had an amazing start in the WWE. He was one of the most popular NXT champions. Even during his initial years on the main roster, Roode was among the top stars. However, it didn’t last long, and he ended up getting lost in the shuffle.

Currently, Bobby Roode is out of action because of his neck injury. He even underwent surgery for the same. There is no announcement regarding his return. However, along with Kurt Angle, the entire WWE Universe hopes that Triple will give him a decent push once he returns.
