“They Just Can’t Do Anything” – Wrestling Veteran Explains How WWE Building a “Monster” in Brock Lesnar Now Comes Back to Haunt Them

Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE saw him transform into an unstoppable Beast highlighted by ending The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak and demolition of John Cena in the same year in 2014. The Beast Incarnate would go on to win several championships and have iconic rivalries since that year and nearly appear unbeatable.

However, recently, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantel revealed how WWE building Lesnar into a ‘monster’ has come back to haunt them. Lesnar’s status provides him with creative control, and he has the final say on his opponents.

Recently, Mantel revealed on a podcast, how Lesnar scrapped the idea of facing Wyatt at ‘Mania and instead chose Omos as his opponent. Ever since Bray Wyatt returned last year, he has only feuded with LA Knight, which ended on a disappointing note as well. However, after Lesnar was pitched the idea of facing Wyatt, he scrapped it.

Mantel gave shocking news when he revealed that Lesnar might have walked out of WWE if the company forced him to face Wyatt at WrestleMania 39.

Both Wyatt and Lesnar are two of the most popular superstars on the roster. However, pitching Wyatt against Lesnar could have done more harm than good. Lesnar would not have lost to Wyatt, and making Wyatt lose would affect his momentum.

Mantel in his podcast revealed why Lesnar refused to face Wyatt. He said, “Brock’s a multi-millionaire. He’ll just get up walk out the door and keep going. So, they just can’t do anything they wanna do with Brock.”

Mantel claimed that WWE created a monster in Lesnar because he does not need any money, or is not interested in involving in angles that he views as inferior.

Brock Lesnar is now scheduled to face Omos at WrestleMania 39. A win for Omos over Lesnar might be a career-changing moment for him.

Prior to the match between Lesnar and Lashley at the Elimination Chamber, Wyatt had issued a challenge for the winner. After Lashley won via disqualification, Wyatt would start a rivalry with him. However, it was also recently reported that Wyatt might not be in fighting condition.

Wyatt has not been able to impress much ever since he returned last year. His feud with LA Knight began on a high note but fell flat during Royal Rumble.
