Shane booked Strowman to be in tag team action against a mystery partner and awaited the reveal.

Braun claimed the Elimination Chamber PPV sucked without him in it. They left him out as he wasn’t a former WWE Champion, which every participant in the match was.

Out walked Shane McMahon, who asked the Monster to chill. He talked to Strowman about misdirected anger and conflict resolution, before revealing his mystery partner to be none other than Adam Pearce! The WWE official was not happy at all with Shane’s decision.

The confident champions, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin strutted out, as they looked set to run through Strowman and Pearce. It would be a mystery how Strowman and Pearce would cooperate, especially since the latter suspended the former in 2020.

Story of the match

Strowman dominated the Raw Tag Team Champions, running through them with a shoulder block. He then launched Alexander out of the ring who landed on the mat viciously.

He tortured Alexander, working on his midsection and crushing him under hiss weight,. Strowman went for the shoulder block in the corner, but Alexander just avoided it.

The champions double teamed Strowman, but the Monster Among Men crushed Benjamin with a running Powerslam. Shane McMahon climbed on the apron and told Strowman to tag Pearce in. He begrudgingly tagged Pearce in,  but Shelton Benjamin quickly rolled him up with an inside cradle for the win!
