But in a recent interview, Johnson ruled out the possibility of being in any kind of election. 

The idea of Dwayne Johnson running for the presidential elections has been spoofed in the NBC hit show Young Rock too. The show is based on the early life of Dwayne Johnson with a mix of fiction. In the show, DJ (played by himself) is running for the POTUS elections while remembering his old days.

In an interview preview recently posted on ‘CBS Sunday Morning’, Dwayne Johnson said that running for president is off the table for him. Johnson wants to give more time to his daughters, as he has always been busy with work in the past.

The Rock said, “I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. And that’s the most important thing to me, is being a daddy, number one, especially during this time, this critical time in my daughters’ lives. ‘Cause I know what it was like to be on the road and be so busy that I was absent for a lot of years when my first daughter’s growing up.”
