“This Took It to New Level!”: WWE Superstar John Cena Opens Up About His ‘Professional and Personal’ Relationship With Dwayne Johnson

The WWE has come up with a thrilling platter of programs for their audience to drool over. One of which is the new one-hour episode of WWE Rivals that will telecast at 10 pm on A&E. Wanna guess who will feature on the new episode? To make your task easy, it is none other than arguably the two greatest wrestlers of the generation of WWE wrestlers, John Cena and Dwayne Johnson. Being a fan of both these legends, are you a little hurt to recall their rivalry? But do you know how much respect both of them have for each other?

One of the two beloved WWE wrestlers took to social media to hype them a little more for the new episode of WWE Rivals. Even though wrestling fanatics are well aware of the massive feud between Cena and Johnson, what they might not know is the love and respect they carry for each other. There have been several instances when they said soothing words to each other. One just incident happened recently when The Champ sent out a tweet about WWE Rivals and The Great One.

After witnessing the greatest dispute between the legends at WrestleMania, a question must have come across everyone’s mind that if both of them are friends in real life or not. A recent tweet by The Cenation Leader shed some light on this and make things clear for you.

He first asked everyone to relive that epic WWE rivalry through those who lived it. Adding to that, Cena wrote, “I wouldnt be who I am 2day w/o @TheRock. Professionally & personally. He challenged me, demanded my best, forced me to address my flaws w/ the world watching! Respect is a core value for me…this took it to new level!”

The statements given by Cena show how much he admires The Rock. He surely cherishes the moment they lived together in the squared circle and outside it. And this isn’t just about wrestling, but The Prototype also appreciated the acting skills of the Black Adam’s lead actor. 

The Face of the WWE spoke highly of The Rock as an actor

The 16-time world champion was once thrown into a difficult position where he had to choose between Batista and The Rock based on their acting skills. Being in a dilemma for a long, he didn’t pick anyone but straight up mentioned Johnson as once in lifetime superstar. He also praised Batista for choosing his roles wisely.

This was one of the many incidents when the superstars spoke highly of each other. However, now Cena is in his hometown of Boston and can appear in tomorrow’s live RAW. Fans also expect him to challenge WWE United States Champion Austin Theory for WrestleMania 39.
