The WWE Universe has lately been receiving quite a few disappointing developments. Things initially started with the rumors of CM Punk’s return getting shot down. This was followed by the scrapping of Cristiano Ronaldo’s appearance at WWE Crown Jewel. However, WWE isn’t a company that allows its fans to stay down for long. In fact, it may have some big things planned for the upcoming SmackDown episode.

WWE has been teasing several new developments for quite some time now. And there are chances that it’ll let out three big bunnies out of its magic hat for SmackDown’s season premiere on FOX.

The camp of The Bloodline had been silent because of the absence of their Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. But, Paul Heyman’s visible frustration and agony will soon end as Roman Reigns will almost definitely arrive at SmackDown’s season premiere. Reports recently confirmed that Reigns will have a match at WWE Crown Jewel

However, the Head of the Table doesn’t have an opponent for the upcoming mega-event so far. So what better occasion than the season premiere of the blue brand to announce the next challenger for Reigns?

While Reigns is likely to mark his presence in the ring after his hiatus, a new and electrifying talent may do her magic backstage. Moreover, if it’s in the cards, she may also make her long-awaited in-ring debut.

Jade Cargill to finally reveal her permanent WWE brand?

Jade Cargill is one of the most high-profile recruits of WWE this year. In fact, while usually WWE stars move away to AEW, Cargill is an established AEW star coming to WWE. The highly versatile and strong wrestler has been teasing her in-ring debut for some time now.

While she has made backstage appearances at NXT and the WWE Fastlane, she may now finally move things up. Jade Cargill can permanently cement the WWE brand she will be competing for with her appearance at SmackDown.

Cargill may either continue what she is doing and make another backstage cameo or make a classic debut via an interference. Either way, her backstage antics could see just one final act now. Apart from Cargill, there are solid chances of a WWE icon making his return to SmackDown after a long time.

The eventual return of Carlito at SmackDown

Carlito debuted in 2004 on SmackDown and beat John Cena for the U.S. title. After his WWE exit in 2010, he only made sporadic appearances and stunned the fans with a cameo at Backlash this year in Puerto Rico. Since then there have been numerous reports and rumors about him making his WWE return for an extended run.

However, Carlito just disappeared like he never returned. But he showed up at Fastlane last week to team up with Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar against The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley

A new development on WWE’s website showcases that Carlito’s profile has been added to the roster’s list of SmackDown which confirms that he’s likely to show up.
