At WrestleMania, we saw two amazing matches for both the Raw and SmackDown women’s championships. While Bianca Belair fended off Asuka at Night 2, Rhea Ripley became the new SmackDown Champion after defeating Charlotte Flair in a highly competitive match at Night 1. Both matches got the ‘This is Awesome’ chants as well as high praise from online critics.
On Raw, we saw the two women hint at a future match and this could mean a litany of things. Even a title unification in the future. But this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any more wrestlers in the locker room, ready to compete for the titles. In addition to that, the fans didn’t like this as well.

Fans express their hate as Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair come face-to-face at Raw
After winning both of their title matches at WrestleMania, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley came face-to-face. While talking about their victories, the two hinted at a future match between the two champions. While this could result in a great match, it could also divulge another set of titles being unified and the fans are not up for the idea.

With so many women in the back, it feels like WWE doesn’t have a clear direction for either title. Despite the tag titles being defended next week on Raw, there is no opponent for either the Raw or SmackDown Women’s Championship. But if we were to talk about a match between the two victors at WrestleMania, it would be amazing as the two have great chemistry with each other.
This fan is confused that this confrontation happened after WrestleMania and not during Survivor Series.
Makes no sense to tease Bianca vs Rhea if it was gonna happen it would be at Survivor series which is months away and they are supposed to be on two different shows

Please don’t unify the belts..

This fan didn’t enjoy last night’s WrestleMania as well as this rendition of Raw.
Just be honest and admit Vince is back doing this. The difference is night and day and it's made this Raw and WM Night 2 horrendous.

Is WWE going to combine the women's titles now?
— Jr (@84WhySoSerious) April 4, 2023
This fan thinks that this was Vince McMahon’s idea.
Something tells me Vince is back

Now don't make there title undisputed women's championship for God sake

The sarcasm is very clear in this fan’s comments.
Cool idea. Merge another pair of titles. Doesn’t get much better than that does it
— JGlory🇦🇷🇵🇷 (@JGVQ0) April 4, 2023
With so many other titles being unified, it is redundant.

Amazing. All those women who could challenge either of the champs and your “new” idea is to unify the women’s championships? Guess it’s time to just read the “highlights” on Tuesday mornings again.
— Chainsaw Kev (@M_F_Ninja) April 4, 2023
These reactions just go to show that fans are not happy with the hint of title unification that this match might present in the future. With the main titles and tag titles already unified, fans don’t want the women’s titles to suffer the same outcome.
