At WrestleMania, we saw two amazing matches for both the Raw and SmackDown women’s championships. While Bianca Belair fended off Asuka at Night 2, Rhea Ripley became the new SmackDown Champion after defeating Charlotte Flair in a highly competitive match at Night 1. Both matches got the ‘This is Awesome’ chants as well as high praise from online critics.

On Raw, we saw the two women hint at a future match and this could mean a litany of things. Even a title unification in the future. But this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any more wrestlers in the locker room, ready to compete for the titles. In addition to that, the fans didn’t like this as well.

Fans express their hate as Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair come face-to-face at Raw

After winning both of their title matches at WrestleMania, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley came face-to-face. While talking about their victories, the two hinted at a future match between the two champions. While this could result in a great match, it could also divulge another set of titles being unified and the fans are not up for the idea.

With so many women in the back, it feels like WWE doesn’t have a clear direction for either title. Despite the tag titles being defended next week on Raw, there is no opponent for either the Raw or SmackDown Women’s Championship. But if we were to talk about a match between the two victors at WrestleMania, it would be amazing as the two have great chemistry with each other.

This fan is confused that this confrontation happened after WrestleMania and not during Survivor Series.

This fan didn’t enjoy last night’s WrestleMania as well as this rendition of Raw.

This fan thinks that this was Vince McMahon’s idea.

The sarcasm is very clear in this fan’s comments.

With so many other titles being unified, it is redundant.

These reactions just go to show that fans are not happy with the hint of title unification that this match might present in the future. With the main titles and tag titles already unified, fans don’t want the women’s titles to suffer the same outcome.
