Ever since WrestleMania 39, several fans and pro wrestling personalities have been predicting that Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns‘ feud is going to finish its first circle a year later. However, Jim Cornette‘s booking style is a bit different. According to him, The American Nightmare will get to accomplish his mission at the Royal Rumble itself. So, why would The Brahma Bull be facing his own cousin at WrestleMania 40?

After talking about Reigns and Rhodes facing each other at Royal Rumble, Cornette added, “I’m saying don’t kayfabe the biggest star in the world but maybe he just comes out to stop the evil Bloodline members from doing something, Cody wins the title but now it’s Roman and Rock, one on one to restore the dynasty.

He further spoke about how making The Rock lose would be a bad decision and he can’t win because of the fact that he won’t be able to retain the title due to his busy schedule. So, according to him, it would most probably be a ‘draw’ that would finally set The Bloodline on a straight path.

However, none of the speculations are official and DJ’s schedule hasn’t been confirmed yet. But, he did tease a possible appearance at WrestleMania 40 on his best friend’s talk show.
