WWE’s complicated booking of Bray Wyatt continued to receive heat during his time with the promotion and continues to be a debate even after his tragic death. Since the very beginning of a roller coaster WWE stint, Wyatt’s creative intellect won hearts, leaving fans yearning for more. But WWE always managed to pull the plug in terms of presenting the late SmackDown star as a dominant winning force without a pinch of controversy. Be it Uncle Howdy or the phenomenal ‘Fiend’, the inconsistency and lack of momentum issues were persistent in his every incarnation.

When WWE played the same downplay card with Wyatt, not putting him over The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31, many people criticized the booking, considering Wyatt’s diminished mojo. Years later, WWE legend Kevin Nash joined them to slam the Stamford-based company for their silly decision of not holding him in a favorable light.

The Undertaker remains synonymous with WrestleMania with a staggering streak of 21-1 over the years. At WrestleMania 30, Brock Lesnar was entrusted with the sole responsibility of breaking the Taker’s WrestleMania winning chain and he quite nailed it. However, just next year, ‘The Deadman’ came back on The Grandest Stage to defeat Wyatt, his alleged successor.

Days after Wyatt’s tragic demise, Kevin Nash looked back at his terrible booking scenes. According to the Hall of Famer, having him lose to Taker back in 2015 was a downright wrong call by WWE. He believes Wyatt was meant to be trusted with a significant push. Not offering him that place took a toll on his career and on the promotion as well.

During a recent episode of ‘Kliq This’ the WWE veteran noted, ‘‘It was a believable gimmick, and the thing was, and I will say it to the day I die–- if you weren’t gonna put over Bray at WrestleMania against The Undertaker … I was at that show and it was time. He was the chosen one and it would have put him over the top and he didn’t win. I think his push kind of took a s**t. You could have raised the stock in Bray.”

Bray Wyatt going over The Undertaker could’ve been an ideal scenario for placing Wyatt as the new face of fear in WWE. Meanwhile in the aftermath of Wyatt’s tragic death, WWE has done a lot for his family but a former WWE star believes they could do more.

A former superstar advocated for good care of Wyatt’s family through the company

Ever since the star breathed his last, WWE has been kind to his family, including his fiancee and children. The company’s noble initiative of donating net proceeds from Wyatt’s merchandise sales to his family garnered a positive reception from fans and followers across.

However, the former WWE superstar Stevie Richards believes it alone won’t suffice the aggrieved family’s needs.

He urged the company officials to rehire Wyatt’s finance, former ring announcer JoJo Offerman, and to pay her handsomely. He also laid down the proposal to the company to provide school-college fees for Wyatt’s children.
