Fans have often debated who is the stand-out wrestler-turned-actor among them and now an AEW star has shared his opinion.

In a recent interview, the top AEW superstar stated that Bautista is better than Dwayne Johnson and John Cena. The basis of comparison is beyond the ability in the wrestling ring.

Chris Jericho prefers Dave Bautista over Dwayne Johnson and Cena

In a video uploaded on X on October 20th from the First We Feast account, former WWE Champion Chris Jericho was asked to play the The Last Dab game. The video was uploaded with the caption, “Will @IAmJericho rank other wrestlers from the best to worst actor? Can he reveal the craziest backstage party animals from the wrestling world? In one segment of the video, he is asked to rank four of the top wrestlers who transitioned to Hollywood. The four wrestlers are Dwayne Johnson, Dave Bautista, Hulk Hogan, and John Cena.

Jericho replied “I’d say the best actor of all of them, is Bautista. I think his work and his diversity from what I have seen, I think he is the best actual actor. And then I’ll put Dwayne Johnson, Cena, and Hulk Hogan after that. Although, Santa with muscles, chef’s kiss.”

Jericho ranks Dave Bautista as a better actor even though Dwayne Johnson is arguably the biggest action star in Hollywood now. Jericho feels that Bautista has diversity in his acting roles ranging from action star to a more comic role from MCU movies as Drax the Destroyer.

He later ranked Dwayne Johnson, who has featured in at least 70 movies and productions like DCEU. Hogan’s Hollywood career never reached the same peak as his wrestling career and was ranked fourth on the list. John Cena was ranked third, as he continues to establish his name in Hollywood.

John Cena is back to WWE till the WGA strike is over

Having acted in nearly 50 movies since 2006, John Cena is making a name for himself in Hollywood. However, currently, he is back to entertaining the WWE universe as WGA strikes have halted the production. However, his recent run in the WWE is for an unknown period while he helps push the upcoming talent like Solo Sikoa and LA Knight.

It is highly likely that Cena will move back to Hollywood once the strike ends and continue to add to his impressive acting career.
