

CM Punk was fired from AEW only to land in WWE again a few months later. Although several fans are happy with his arrival, there are people who believe that Punk has some ‘karma’ due to the time he spent in AEW. Recent social media activities from an AEW superstar suggest that his former rivals might not be done with him yet.
CM Punk to face ‘karma’ soon?
“The Best in the World” and his issues with the AEW talents run deep. One of the things that started his conflict in AEW was the differences that Adam “Hangman” Page and Punk were unable to settle between them. Now that the ex-UFC star is out of the picture, Page still hasn’t left him alone.

Through a recent few Instagram stories, Page displayed his real thoughts regarding CM Punk’s return to WWE.

First, Adam posted a story of himself with the song NDA by Megan Thee Stallion. This arguably represented his current state, as he is in a non-disclosure agreement regarding the Punk-AEW situation, meaning he can’t speak much about the current scenario.
The next Instagram story, which was shortly deleted after, was of a wine glass with the song My Kink is Karma, presumably suggesting that Page believes that ‘karma’ will come for Punk no matter where he goes. Not to mention it was the argument over the use of glass and subsequent instances that led to Punk’s departure from AEW.

But despite what Page believes about his former colleague being squared off by ‘karma’ one day, a wrestling legend thinks otherwise.

Because of the controversies Punk attracts, one would assume that the locker room would want to stay away from him. In fact, due to his infamous image in the industry, there were fans who were afraid that the former WWE champion’s presence in the Stamford-based company might make some talents walk away.

During a recent episode of the Busted Open podcast that he co-hosts with two other industry veterans, Bully Ray revealed how CM Punk’s return wouldn’t change a thing about WWE’s locker room. The former wrestler explained that the promotion is currently doing great, economically speaking. So, it wouldn’t be reasonable for any wrestler to walk away from a profitable business.
