Even being largely scripted, professional wrestling has recorded several career-threatening injuries happening to its stars. Most of them are accidental but fans’ reaction to them sometimes creates much chaos. Similarly, a WWE SmackDown star is currently going through big trouble for accidentally injuring Big E last year.
This accident happened on the March 11th, 2022 episode of SmackDown when Ridge Holland gave a belly-to-belly suplex to the heavyweight wrestler. The latter’s awkward landing then prompted the WWE officials to immediately rush him to the medical facility. Since then, his fans are awaiting a piece of good news regarding his health. However, the recent update by the 37-year-old came as a disappointment to many. And thus, the repercussions of the accident are now coming to Holland.

However, a sense of relief must have been felt by the English wrestler as fans on the internet showed their support for him.
Fans came in support of the WWE star against the threats
As soon as Holland tweeted about the threats he has been receiving, the fans over the internet expressed their concern. Not only did they take the side of the blue brand star but also got annoyed with the threat givers.

The most genuine remarks among those were the same. Fans wanted Holland to just know that he didn’t do anything wrong and that accidents happen in such a physical sport.

Sorry you're dealing with this ridge. Normal people know it was an accident.

Some of them straight away mentioned that harassing anyone like this isn’t okay, that too based on a match for which both the wrestlers signed up.
I get being hurt over what happened to Big E but it isn’t our place to treat this man like this. Big E forgave him and is just focusing on healing and getting better. We should do the same.
This behavior isn’t okay. At all. https://t.co/b1NLFYgN15— baby firefly. 30 (@ASUKASMOX) March 13, 2023
To hell with anyone who thinks this is acceptable. What happened between Ridge and Big E was accidental, the performers know the risks before getting in that ring. https://t.co/aQWk4CE99p
