Eva Marie has always received polarizing reactions from the WWE Universe. But what makes her a significant addition to the roster is her ability to stay relevant. Speaking in an interview, Marie highlighted her discussion with Vince McMahon that led to her comeback in WWE.

She returned to WWE television in June this year, in an episode of Monday Night Raw alongside NXT UK star Piper Niven as her protege, now known as Doudrop.

Speaking with Ryan Satin of ‘Out of Character‘ podcast, Marie talked about Vince McMahon and how he keeps up with daily life even in his 70s.

“I have so much respect for him. It’s pretty incredible. I mean the fact that he’s still going to all these shows and doing what he does, it’s actually impressive to see just like the work ethic in him. Obviously, it’s something born in him. I mean, the guy shot for the cover of Muscle & Fitness or whatever at 72, looking shredded.

“I would make sure any time of my interactions, even to this day, I’m not trying to eat up his time. One, he doesn’t have it. Two, I’m sure he doesn’t want to spend that much time with me. Three, to keep things simple and short.

“That’s probably maybe why we’ve always had a good relationship. That’s kind of like the same with Stephanie and Triple H too,” said Marie.

Of course, Vince McMahon is famous for his insane work ethic in the professional wrestling industry, which makes him a class apart from the rest of the competition.
