Edge could end up at WWE RAW in the coming weeks

Edge had a great run since his return to wrestling. The Rated R Superstar won the Royal Rumble 2020 and had intense rivalries with Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, and Seth Rollins. All these matches happened as Edge was part of the blue brand. Now new rumors suggest that the former world champion could be on his way to Monday Night RAW so that he can increase the red brand’s star value. Fans noted Edge had been recently listed as a RAW Superstar on the WWE Shop.

RAW has lacked superstars that can attract fans, and bringing in Edge can solve a considerable amount of that problem. By introducing Edge into the show, the writers can throw in some great ideas and pitch in some dream matches for the WWE fans. Edge facing AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, Damien Priest, and Bobby Lashley certainly excites the fans.

WWE trying to balance both brands with equal star power

If WWE puts Edge into the RAW brand, their action is justifiable because SmackDown just got Becky Lynch and Brock Lesnar after Summerslam. Becky Lynch made her much-awaited come back to WWE and won the SmackDown women’s title by defeating Bianca Belair at Summerslam. Lesnar showed up at the end of the key event of Summerslam. Lesnar, who came out to confront Roman Reigns, gave him the looks that revealed a likely rivalry in the coming days.

RAW, on the other hand, desperately needs some fresh talent. The debut of Karrion Kross and the RK-Bro are helping RAW gain viewers, but for the past few months, SmackDown has been dominant over raw. With the introduction of Edge to RAW, WWE hopes to gain more viewers for the red brand.
