“Don’t Take a Risk”: Cody Rhodes to Fight Despite Brutal Injury, WWE Fans Express Concern

The WWE Premium Live Event Hell in a Cell card had one of the most anticipated matches which is Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins. Their third match will happen inside the giant steel structure.
Ahead of the match, the WWE Universe saw a huge feud between both the superstars on last week’s RAW. The brawl was a sneak peek at the level the superstars were ready to destroy each other in their match.

However, during the past weekend, it was reported that Cody Rhodes picked up an injury after an attack at the hands of Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Questions and concerns were raised regarding their match at the Premium Live Event.
WWE posted the news on Twitter saying, “WWE has the latest update on @CodyRhodes ahead of The American Nightmare’s Hell in a Cell match with @WWERollins at #HIAC tonight. https://wwe.com/shows/hellinacell/article/cody-rhodes-plans-to-fight-through-the-pain”.

WWE on their website shared that Rhodes picked the injury at the brawl at RAW against Rollins. ‘The American Nightmare’ suffered a partially torn right pectoral tendon. However, while he was weight training in preparation for the match, the tendon tore completely off the bone.

The fans have also got hurt after they saw the news regarding the injury of ‘The American Nightmare’. It came out of nowhere, but the fans want Rhodes to rest and recover if he is seriously injured.

The WWE Universe is concerned whether Rhodes will have the match at Hell in a Cell or will sideline for the show. WWE, on their website, shared the news for the same. They said, “Nonetheless, being the man and the competitor that he is, Rhodes has vowed to still face Rollins inside Hell in a Cell tonight.”

The ex-AEW superstar has never shied away from any challenge. This is the reason he has built so much success for himself. As planned, Rhodes will enter the steel structure and have the match to put an end to this rivalry once and for all.
