‘Toughest SOB’ Stone Cold Steve Austin Goes Against Doctors Advise After Blood Donation

It is not unusual for Stone Cold Steve Austin to do things that mere mortals do not dare to do. His idea of a productive day is quite different from an average person’s day.

An example of what he is truly capable of came to light when he went to donate blood. It so happened that after donating blood, he took the advice of not going to the gym, but decided against a universal suggestion – consumption of alcohol.

So, a common suggestion is that one should not consume alcohol for at least 24 hours after donating blood. The reason is that alcohol leads to dehydration and loss of water following blood donation is problematic.

However, The Texas Rattlesnake skipped gym, but went to Minden Meat and Deli for a mug of Broken Skull IPA and other beer samples coupled with a rack of pork ribs.

On the other hand, usually, individuals opt to go back home and take ample rest and hydrate themselves continually after donating blood.

Now, Stone Cold has always been a bada**, and he continues to prove it even though he’s growing older. In fact, it seems like he’s becoming tougher with age!

Stone Cold Steve Austin is an avid beer lover

The Texas Rattlesnake is known for almost everything he did in WWE, such as the stunners or his rivalry with Vince McMahon. However, there was one more thing he did that made the fans love him even more – drink beer.

However, some fans were curious if the beer he drank in the ring was real beer, and the answer is yes.

Every time Stone Cold opened a can of beer, it was real beer. There have been times he’s gone through a couple of them after a match and had a buzz going.

“I can’t tell you how many times I left the ring and I had a little bit of a buzz because of all the beers I was drinking. When you’re shotgunning anywhere from six to 12 beers, and maybe you get half of ‘em in. On an empty stomach, after you’ve wrestled, it goes to your head pretty quick.” H/t FoxSports
