It’s no secret that Vince McMahon is the backbone of the entire WWE – he almost single-handedly built it into the empire that it is today. However, the Mac, who is well known and respected for his shrewdness and cunning, is also a beast in the gym. So, when fans heard that some WWE Legends who are closely associated with McMahon did not want to work out with him, they weren’t shocked.

In an interview with TMZSports, two WWE Legends who dominated the industry both on the ring and off it, revealed their reasons for not wanting to work out with the Brain of the WWE. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon talked to fans about their workout routines and whether they’ve worked out with other members of the McMahon family.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon work out at midnight to keep their WWE star bodies in shape, but they can’t keep up with the family’s patriarch, the 77-year-old McMahon. When asked why, Levesque slyly replied, “He’s too crazy,” and Stephanie agreed, saying, “He leaves the office at 11 at night and then goes to the gym.”

Triple H is not exaggerating – the 77-year-old backbone of the WWE is known to be a beast in the gym. Like Triple H said, “He’s a machine.” In another interview with TMZSports, even McMahon’s wife Linda said that her husband would put all the other members of her illustrious, and buff, family to shame.

Vince McMahon is a beast in the gym

As he neared his 70th birthday, McMahon did an interview with ‘Muscle and Fitness’ in which he shared some astounding statistics. McMahon claimed that at 109 kg and 5% body fat, he could still squat 254 kg with the goal of moving up to 272 kg (his personal best is 318 kg), and that he had completed five repetitions of 204 kg on the chest press machine.

It is a known fact that the Mac is in the gym at least five days a week, and that he pumps iron even after a gruelling road trip at 3 AM. Sheamus has admitted that his boss Vince McMahon is his ideal workout partner and that he can’t lift as much as he can. Chris Jericho has even referred to McMahon as the “Real Terminator.” It is clear that no matter what, McMahon is always going to be instrumental to the WWE.
