It would not be an overstatement to say WrestleMania is arguably the greatest event in the world of sports entertainment. Many performers dream of someday competing at ‘The Grandest Stage Of Them All’. Only a handful of them actually are given the opportunity to do so. However, the Triple H-headed WWE may make it all the more difficult for them. And the performers are quite unhappy with it.

The mega spectacle which is scheduled to take place in Hollywood, California this time has already got the fans excited. The event is scheduled to take place over the course of two nights. Apart from the major championship matches, a majority of the card is still to be determined. This gives hope to the roster of finding their place on the biggest event of the year. But those hopes are set to be dented if reports are to be believed.

Triple H-headed WWE has made many performers unhappy

Triple H, who heads the WWE creative at the moment, is in favor of a much smaller card than what is traditionally offered at WrestleMania. This may come as bad news, especially for the mid-card and under-card performers. They may end up looking at ‘The Showcase of Immortals’ from the sidelines as it stands currently, as per wrestlingnews.co.

Voices of dissent against the new regime already?

This is could be the first voice of dissent against the current regime from the workforce itself. Fans have already voiced their displeasure over the supposed bad booking of Brock Lesnar by ‘The Game’. The Beast is set to face The Nigerian Giant Omos at ‘The Show of Shows’. But there is still a considerable amount of time between now and the marquee event. And as the WWE universe knows, things can change very quickly with the promotion.

There is a possibility looks like the match card at WrestleMania 39 could be much shorter than last year. How the Stamford-based promotion convinces the majority of its roster to put up happy faces remains to be seen. It’s not easy to let go of the desire of competing at “The Grand Daddy of Them All’ for many performers.

Do you agree with Triple H’s decision to go with a smaller match card at WrestleMania 39?
