Triple H Gives LA Knight Fresh Hopes After Robbing Him of His Career’s Biggest Moment at Money in The Bank

The crowd in London got to witness one hell of a night this Saturday. The opening match of Money in the Bank PLE saw seven superstars – LA Knight, Butch, Santos Escobar, Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Damian Priest, and Logan Paulcollide inside the ring to grab the men’s MITB briefcase in a ladder match.

The Judgment Day member came out victorious from the match and went home with the MITB briefcase. Priest may have won the match, but it was Knight who was the star of the show. Going into the match Knight was definitely the fan favorite.

Fans were hoping to see him win the match but unfortunately, he was robbed of his career’s biggest moment. But don’t worry, LA Knight fans! It seems like Triple H and WWE have some special plans for him in the near future.

Triple H and WWE have something in the store for LA Knight

After the MITB, WWE held a press conference and HHH was one of the guests. During the conference, he subtly hinted at Knight’s future in WWE. He said, “I know LA Knight was a massive favorite coming in tonight, continuing that ascent. But you know, great things come to those who wait, right? And I think that rise is just getting started.”

Seeing the Knight’s popularity in the match might have surely prompted WWE to think about giving him a well-deserved push in the company. And it looks like WWE will act on it very soon. Nowadays, Knight has become a hot favorite among the fans and WWE can definitely capitalize on that going forward.

As mentioned before, the fan-favorite star couldn’t bag the victory this Saturday. Therefore, it made the WWE Universe quite mad to see him go home empty-handed.

Fans criticize WWE’s decision to book Priest as the winner

Apparently, WWE’s decision to make Priest the men’s MITB winner disappointed many fans. They believed he didn’t need the win at this point in his career. According to the WWE Universe, Knight was the perfect fit to win the men’s briefcase.

But since WWE robbed Knight of an enormous opportunity and gave it to The Judgment Day member, the fans lambasted the Stamford-based promotion on social media platforms. They believe that no other superstar deserved to be the winner and holder of the men’s MITB briefcase more than Knight.
