WATCH: WWE Drops an Insane Promo for NXT Championship Match at TakeOver

In a recent post on Twitter, WWE Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development Paul Levesque aka Triple H thanked the band Metallica for their powerful contribution to the background music in a video promo.

WWE released the video in order to build up the hype for the Keith Lee vs Karrion Kross match that will take place at NXT TakeOver this Saturday. 

The video was very well edited and as usual had a killer background track. Metallica had permitted the use of their song ‘Frantic’ for the video, the lyrics of which matched Kross’s iconic “Tick-Tock” gimmick.

Triple H is no stranger to Metallica music and even used their hit song “For Whom the Bell Tolls” for the beginning of his WrestleMania 27 entrance.

The sound certainly gave a very good beat to the rivalry that will see the clash of two of the best wrestlers in NXT.

The only place you’ll hear ‘Tick-Tock’ from now is from Karrion Kross. The NXT Superstar has made a huge mark on the brand with his unique character image along with Scarlett. 

The two have become the new face of horror and have managed to pull off some brilliantly orchestrated segments. In their last meeting, Scarlett handed Keith Lee a contract book for the match against Kross.

On opening it, Keith soon found himself hit by flames that had risen from that very book. Furious, Lee challenged Kross to a match anytime and anyplace.

Karrion Kross has been waiting for this opportunity

Kross’s mind games seem to have worked, but does he truly understand who he’s dealing with? Keith Lee managed to beat the great Adam Cole to become NXT’s first-ever Double Champion. This powerhouse is not a force to meddle with.

Karrion Kross on the other hand is more or less a wrecking ball. He has destroyed everyone who has wronged him. The dark character of his lurks the shadows with Scarlett and stalks his targets. 

Kross has made sure that he successfully crossed the lines with Lee and now has the double-champion exactly where he wants him.

We are eager to see who wins this duel. Will Keith Lee lose what he worked so hard to earn? Only time will tell.
