WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair never minces his words. His unapologetic attitude is one of the many attributes loved by the fans. Not to mention his decades of heroics in the squared circle. The Nature Boy enjoys a large number of followers on social media. And naturally, his posts are viewed by many users.
So when Flair criticizes someone on his Twitter account, people take notice. And when it is a known name in the wrestling industry, it is bound to raise intrigue.
Ric Flair takes a massive shot at a former WWE manager

The 16-time world champion recently took to his Twitter to take a massive shot at former wrestler and manager Dutch Mantell aka Zeb Colter. Flair posted, “Thank God They Used The Word Veteran & Didn’t Call You A Legend. Just A Miserable Old Wrestler Trying To Make A Buck. And BTW, You Never Had A Legacy, To Begin With. WOOOOO!”

The WWE legend was irate about the recent comments made by Mantell about him. They were made about Flair’s retirement match at the Starrcast V event last year. He teamed up with son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to go wrestle the AEW duo of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal.

Despite Carrying Prescription, Ric Flair Landed Himself in Trouble After Failed Drug Test
Mantell heavily denounced ‘The Dirtiest Player of The Game.’ During Story Time With Dutch Mantell Podcast, he said, “He looked like hell, he looked like him. And we’ve talked about this before, I thought he was gonna die”.
Mantell’s sharp opinion did not go down well with Flair who came up with a response of his own on social media. After all, Jack Swagger’s former manager raised questions on multiple occasions that Flair has appeared to quit wrestling.
The curious case of Flair’s multiple retirements
As illustrious as Flair’s career was in the ring his multiple retirements have taken some gloss off it. Fans thought they had seen the last of the Hall of Famer in the squared circle at WrestleMania XXIV where he had a supposed farewell match against Shawn Michaels.
But Flair bounced back into action during his stint with TNA which is now known as Impact Wrestling. The aforementioned 2022 match was the latest of his flirtations with retirement.

Parting with wrestling was not easy for Naitch, as daughter Charlotte Flair once lifted the lid on her conversations with her father regarding quitting.
But much like between the ropes, it’s hard to win against Ric Flair in a war of words. And Dutch Mantell found that out the hard way. He might have had a point in his argument but, the sheer number of Flair fanatics means it will be almost impossible for him to put his point across.
