NXT No Mercy was definitely not for the faint-hearted as Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton literally tore each other apart. Lynch entered the match with a trolly that contained all the weapons of destruction she was going to use in the match. The match started with multiple chair and kendo stick shots to Stratton, which set the brutal tone for the match. The other weapons used to inflict injury in that match included barbed wire baseball bats, garbage can lids and tables.

They even went to the extent of using broken Barbie dolls in the middle of the ring in place of the usual nails and thumbtacks. Eventually, The Man emerged victorious from that horrific bout but she got some battle scars to prove the viciousness of that match. And now, exactly 8 days after that fight, she shared an almost positive update about her injury on Twitter. She posted a pic of her arm with the cut all stitched up with the caption, “In day eight looking great! 🤢”.

Becky Lynch defends her title tonight against Tegan Nox and Nox will be well aware of her arm injury. There is a high probability that Nox might target the 36-year-old’s injured arm in her conquest for title glory. We will only have to wait and watch to see what the end outcome will be.

The main event for Fastlane was a last-man-standing match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Keeping the championship aside, Rollins just wanted to inflict pain upon Shinsuke Nakamura for the multitude of mind games he has been playing over the last few months.

Rollins was quite successful in doing so as in the process of laying waste to Nakamura, he also retained his title through sheer will and determination. Post winning the match, Rollins, in his typical flamboyant style went into the crowd to celebrate his victory.
