WWE always keeps surprise returns of its superstar for the big event. Currently, there are rumors of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cody Rhodes returning around WrestleMania 38 to have matches in WWE. That’s for men’s division, for women’s division the two big returns WWE is keeping is Bayley and Asuka around the same time this year.
Bayley was injured last year when she tore her ACL at the performance center and was out of action for nine months. As for Asuka, she was out of action since late August 2021 for her shoulder and dental surgery.

Recently, PWInsider posted on their website about the returning status of Bayley and Asuka. Bayley has been active on social media, hinting at her return multiple times. Meanwhile, Asuka has posted not much about her in-ring return to WWE since her hiatus.
Fans expect Bayley to return by the end of March from the ACL tear she suffered working out in the WWE Performance Center over the summer. As for the status of Asuka, she is expected to be on TV by the end of this month.

It is still unclear whether WWE doctors have given a green signal for both superstars for their in-ring return yet. But it is heavily rumored both will appear on TV shows before WrestleMania 38. It is just a matter of time to see what WWE has planned for them.
Who will be Bayley’s opponent after her WWE return?
Bayley, on her social media, gave hints at her returns for the whole of the last year. The Role model has targeted Sasha Banks on her social media.

Before getting injured, Bayley had a feud with Sasha Banks. Both can conclude their feud at WrestleMania 38. Also, with Sasha having no opponent, Bayley can challenge her, or both can go for the Women’s Tag Team championship.
Who will Asuka face after WWE returns?
Asuka since late August has not appeared on WWE TV. She was suffering a shoulder injury. She took some time off for her shoulder surgery and also had dental surgery.

In September, Asuka posted on her social media about her Dental Surgery. She had dental surgery because of the teeth she lost in a match against Shayna Baszler. We also saw her wearing a strap for her shoulder support.

It is unclear who she will start her feud with after the return. It is an excitement for the fans what WWE has planned for her once she is back to in-ring action.
