When it comes to the last-minute rewrites, Vince McMahon is the boss. McMahon has been notoriously known for his controversial creative moves for years. Fans breathed a sigh of relief when he finally took himself out of the creative table last year. However, he played his master card through the blockbuster Endeavor deal to force his way back into the creative again at Raw after WrestleMania in April.
McMahon’s influences were pretty evident from the very start of that RAW episode, with many last-minute rewrites and other mishaps. It was termed the worst Raw after WrestleMania ever. Fans became furious with him.
However, later it has been reported multiple times that Vince’s influence in the creative is very negligible. But again, a new report suggests the reverse. It seems like McMahon isn’t really done with having his way in the creative.

Vince McMahon pops up in the creative in the form of AJ Styles’ infamous Raw segment last week
After a widely successful Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, WWE came back to the US with Monday Night RAW. The episode saw the current World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins team up with his opponent AJ Styles and got the better of Finn Balor and Damien Priest. However, the segment was massively lambasted for Styles’ appearance in Raw despite getting drafted at SmackDown weeks ago.

Finally, the mastermind behind his unpopular segment is revealed, and the man is none other than Vince McMahon. The notorious executive chairman of the Stamford-based company never fails to defy his own rules in the weirdest ways. This time is not an exception.
PWInsider reported that Styles’ sudden appearance was made upon the orders of Vince McMahon at the very last moment. He made a request to Triple H to bring the former WWE Champion to the scene.
Given Styles’ bizarre segment on Raw, a big question mark has been put on the credibility of the recent WWE draft. Some wrestling veterans also raised a valid question regarding this.
Vince Russo slammed WWE for bringing up a SmackDown star to Raw
Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently took a shot at the WWE’s offbeat decision. Russo seems to be in disbelief at the fact that a drafted SmackDown star could still appear on RAW that way.

It was expected that the superstars would stick to their respective brands following the draft. During a recent interview, the 62-year-old noted, “The Bloodline storyline is the only thing they have going on right now. There is nothing else that this company has going. However, RAW is not important enough for them to follow up on the show, but AJ is going to come over from SmackDown.”
