Dating the Baddest Woman on the Planet might be a dream for many UFC enthusiast bachelors. Unfortunately, Ronda Rousey is off the market as she married the former MMA fighter Travis Browne in 2017. But the guys who were dreaming of dating Rousey dodged a bullet according to this former UFC fighter.
Before joining the UFC and meeting Travis Browne, she dated Brendan Schaub, who was also in the UFC. Rousey and Schaub dated roughly for a year before breaking up in 2014. Back in 2015, Schaub spoke on The Joe Rogan podcast about dating The Rowdy One.

“She’s so successful. She’s surrounded by people that worship her and go yes, yes, that’s a great idea. But when I said I don’t think that’s a good idea, now I’m a hater. I have no financial gain from you. I don’t need anything from you, I’ve earned everything myself.” said Schaub.
Further, Schaub commented that Rousey is too demanding and didn’t like other people’s opinions. But, the other statement by the former UFC fighter made the internet go mad at him.
Schaub faced the aftermath of his comments on Ronda Rousey
Brendan Schaub went on to say how he did a favor to Rousey just by dating her. “Believe me, I did her a favor, man. I’m not the guy for the job, I’m just not. I’m too much (of a man). She needs a guy who’s gonna take a backseat. That’s not me. She also needs a guy that’s gonna say ‘yes, ma’am, yes ma’am.”
Schaub received a lot of hatred from the fans of ‘Rowdy’ Ronda after the podcast. But he denied the allegations and said that the journalists twisted his words.
He also revised his statement in his podcast a few days later. “I’m a huge Ronda Rousey supporter. I love that girl. I’ll defend her to the death. I always do. Too much man? I would never say that. I’m a guy who watches romantic comedies, I like pop culture. I read some books, I drink coffee. I’m not that manly.”
