The UFC fighter in question is Brendan Schaub. In the beginning, Schaub competed in the UFC, winning 10 fights and lost 5. But after 7 years in the company, he announced his retirement in the Joe Rogan Experience show. After that, he began working in the podcast business, which he excelled at. His podcast shows ‘Below the Belt’ and ‘The Fighter and The Kid show’ have become very successful.
Ronda Rousey’s ex Brendan Schaub spills a story about Brock Lesnar being nervous
On the podcast, Below The Belt, Brendan Schaub, Ronda Rousey’s ex, had Kenny Florian on as a guest. While looking over at the UFC 249 pay-per-view match card, Schaub revealed an interesting story featuring Brock Lesnar. He narrated, “I knew I could kind of be honest with my coaches and myself when I saw Brock Lesnar before he was fighting.”
He continued saying, “I think it was Cain [Velasquez] or Shane Carwin. And his coach was like slapping him [and saying], ‘No, you’re going out there! I was like, ‘His big ass doesn’t wanna go out there?!’” While Brock Lesnar has never falsified this information, he hasn’t mentioned it as well. But being afraid to go in the Octagon to face Cain Velasquez makes much more sense.

Not only did the Beast lose his UFC Heavyweight Championship to the fighter, but he also lost by a TKO in the first round. It was one of the lowest points in his UFC/MMA career. WWE would later use this as a storyline for Velasquez’s debut match in a wrestling ring. Though this time, the tables would be turned in favor of the Beast Incarnate.
