Combat sports ace Brock Lesnar made his WWE debut back in 2002 and rose to prominence quickly, establishing himself as a top star in the company. However, he would later leave WWE in 2004 for greener pastures. Lesnar tried football, pro wrestling in Japan, and MMA. Among these three, the former WWE champion became one of the MMA industry’s top stars. After conquering the UFC, he returned to WWE in 2012 and has remained there ever since- barring a one-off UFC bout against Mark Hunt in 2016.

Veteran WWE manager, Paul Heyman, took to Twitter after the event and compared the controversial moment with one of Brock Lesnar’s moments.
