Dakota Kai and Ember Moon started off inside the demonic structure, bringing some fast-paced action from the get-go. Both women had each other’s number until Shotzi Blackheart came in after the first three minutes and took a toolbox and wrench from under the ring inside the hellacious structure.

Raquel Gonzalez was next to come out, looking like a monster all set to run through everyone. She aided her friend Dakota Kai and leveled both Ember and Shotzi with her brute strength. She even used her own partner, Dakota Kai, as a weapon to take down her opponents.

Rhea Ripley came out next, and fans saw a battle between two of NXT’s powerhouse women. With a 3-2 advantage, Team Shotzi got the better of Kai and Gonzalez. Rhea Ripley cracked backs with a sledgehammer too! That must’ve definitely broken a few bones.

Toni Storm was out next for Team Candice and made her intentions clear right from the start. She viciously hit a german suplex on Ripley and then started exposing the turnbuckles in a couple of ring corners.

It doesn’t end there. Rhea Ripley was Irish-whipped right into the exposed steel.

NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai was the final entrant for Team Shotzi. Call it a master plan or quick thinking, Raquel Gonzalez ensured the ‘Genius of the Sky’ stays outside. Toni Storm reaffirmed by holding the door shut with her belt.

A masterplan from Team Candice

Team captain Candice LeRae was the final entrant. LeRae, too, ensured that the NXT Women’s Champion stays outside the ring. Even Indi Hartwell sneak attacked Io from behind and then locked the WarGames door with a legit chain and lock.

Io tried several ways to get in. She tried climbing in too, but Raquel Gonzalez bounced her off the structure a couple of times.

The match finally went underway when Io Shirai found a rather one of a kind way to enter the match. We predicted a Moonsault off the top, but what she did was no less than a ‘MAMA MIA!’ moment!

We also predicted an Eclipse and Ember Moon did not disappoint. She hit a picture perfect Eclipse on Dakota Kai, that too, on the steel chairs!

Shotzi had her own extreme moments when she hit a senton off the top of a ladder on LeRae. Sadly for Shotzi, Candice used a steel chair to reverse the damage on her.

The closing moments of the match saw all eight women being down and out. It was powerhouse Raquel Gonzalez who hit her signature One Hand Powerbomb off the top rope, sending Io Shirai crashing through the ladder that was set between both rings to get the victory for Team Candice.

It seemed unlikely that Team Candice would win this contest, but they did. A key takeaway is Raquel Gonzalez pinned the NXT Women’s Champion.

Is this over between the eight women? Don’t look like, but we guess they’ll branch into single feuds, at least to write the last chapter between Candice LeRae and Shotzi Blackheart and a new challenge in Raquel Gonzalez for Io Shirai.
