Xavier Woods did the impossible and won the King of the Ring tournament at the WWE Crown Jewel PPV. However, the trouble for him is that he is on the blue brand, alongside the reigning WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

The New Day is split up since Big E is performing on Monday nights, and the remaining two (Kofi and Woods), perform on Friday Night SmackDown, and the former WWE champion was stopped in his tracks when The Bloodline lay waste on The New Day on last week’s SmackDown.

However, WWE reports that because of that vicious attack, Kofi Kingston has suffered an MCL sprain in his knee and is likely to miss action for at least one week.

However, given the recent singles run of Woods, WWE is showing immense trust in the former US champion, and he is delivering as expected.
