WWE Hall of Famer has been out of action since last week’s Super SmackDown where he was carried out with a stretcher. The storyline injury occurred after Seth Rollins hit Edge with a devastating ‘Curb Stomp’.

“Edge went out on a stretcher and was taken away in an ambulance. This will explain Edge not being around for a few months. Since Edge only works part-time it is easy to do injury angles to explain his being gone but there’s also a limit on how many you can do before it feels like you’ve seen it before.”

The storyline injury was continued by his wife, Beth Phoenix, on WWE NXT.

At the moment, it looks like Edge vs Seth Rollins feud has ended, with both wrestlers holding one win over the other. It is unsure when ‘The Ultimate Opportunist‘ will be back in the squared circle, if the Observer is to be believed.

All Elite Wrestling is deemed to be better in this aspect. They give equal importance to all their wrestlers while using the old ones to enhance the young talent. WWE’s NXT 2.0 is a step towards better programming and man management.
