Arnold Schwarzenegger never had a WWE match, but he has always a good relationship with the company. Moreover, he appeared several times on WWE TV and has always talked positively about the company and professional wrestling.

Interesyingly, WWE inducted him into the Hall of Fame in 2015. However, the Styrian Oak paid his gratitude to one of the greatest ever WWE Legends who helped him win his 3rd Mr. Universe title.

In 2015, at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, Arnold Schwarzenegger gave a memorable speech. He talked about how Bruno Sammartino helped him win Mr. Universe for the 3rd time. Moreover, he also praises the longest WWE Champion.

The Governator said, “And then when I won two Mr. Universe titles, I came to America and Mr. Universe competition. I entered in New York. There I won my third Mr. Universe competition and guess who was the head judge. ‘Bruno Sammartino !’ I couldn’t believe it, that he is the greatest professional wrestler, he was the champion, and he was the head judge.”

Schwarzenegger added, “Now remember him coming up to and tell, ‘Do a bicep pose’. I hit the double biceps shot and then he says show me the most muscular and I did the most muscular pose and everything. He says, ‘I am the head judge, for me you are number one and I’ll vote for you right now number one. So he was the one that helped me win the Mr. Universe contrast their time.”

The four time Mr. Universe also shared when he moved to Munich after winning the European Champion. He took a job as a gym manager and watched several top professional wrestler workout. He claimed those professional wrestlers motivated him to have a great physique and focus on his aim of winning the top bodybuilding titles.
