Vince McMahon Books Brock Lesnar for Mega Main Event at WWE Crown Jewel 2021 in Saudi Arabia

Brock Lesnar made an impactful return to WWE at SummerSlam 2021. When he did, the look of shock on Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman was unmatched. Both of them knew the storm that was coming their way would be something they hadn’t faced before.
Now, Lesnar has been playing a subtle mind game with Roman Reigns. He’s been indicating that Heyman knew about his return and failed to inform The Tribal Chief. And, Paul Heyman is desperately trying to convince Reigns he had no idea.

Therefore, Lesnar made Paul Heyman accept a challenge before Roman Reigns fired him. The challenge? The Beast vs The Tribal Chief for the WWE Universal Championship. Even before he could respond to the challenge, Lesnar picked up Heyman to execute an F5, but Reigns saved him with a Superman punch to Lesnar.
However, Lesnar’s challenge was heard. WWE heard him, and booked a match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar for WWE Crown Jewel on October 21st, 2021.
Is Brock Lesnar after the Universal Championship or Roman Reigns?
The megastar he is, undoubtedly, The Beast wants to be at the very top. This equates to him becoming the WWE Universal Champion.
If The Universal Championship is the goal, he may need to take a step back and wait for Extreme Rules 2021. Roman Reigns is taking on Finn Balor’s Demon King. If Demon King becomes the New Universal Champion, The Beast may want to change his target opponent.

On the other hand, if Lesnar’s target is Reigns, Extreme Rules’ 2021 result will not matter. Regardless of who emerges victorious, Lesnar and Reigns will face each other at Crown Jewel 2021.
The one tweak which can happen if Roman Reigns successfully defends the title against Finn Balor, the match at Crown Jewel could upgrade to a title match.
