“Handcuffs Are Finally Off”: WWE Fans Go Wild as the Company Tweets Banned Word That Vince McMahon Hated

Vince McMahon is hailed as one of the greatest minds in the business. He took WWE from a regional company and turned it into a multinational organization. Over the years, several WWE Superstars have credited him for the company’s major success.

After taking over the company in 1982, he brought in several changes which aided in the company’s success. He hired and put over several legendary and successful WWE Superstars. McMahon helped various pro wrestlers reach their potential and turn them into what they are currently. However, McMahon did not follow a traditional route. He had various norms and rules in his company that his employees had to follow.

One of McMahon’s most popular norms was, a set of banned words. Before Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and Nick Khan took over, Vince McMahon was still in charge. Under his authority, the company had to follow a set of strict rules. One of which was a set of banned words.

McMahon had banned wrestlers or any staff from using words such as,blood, wrestling, wrestlers, baby face and heel to name a few. Wrestlers in WWE had to be in fact called, Superstars.

However, after Triple H took over as the head of creative, he lifted the ban on certain words. One of which is, wrestling. Recently, the Twitter handle of WWE, decided to randomly tweet the word ‘wrestling’. After the Tweet came out, it instantly hit the chord with the fans. Several WWE Fans started Vince McMahon on Twitter after the ban on this got lifted.

Fans were quick to notice the nuance WWE is heading towards, under Triple H and started reacting.

Football team, FC Bayern Munich also was not behind in trolling WWE for their Tweet.

Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon celebrated his 77th birthday on 24th August. His retirement was a shock to various people. However, ever since his retirement, he has maintained a low-lifestyle, and has rarely been seen in the public.

Since his retirement, for the first time Vince McMahon, along with others, was at a spot in New York City celebrating his birthday. However, this time, McMahon was spotted hanging out with a special guest. At the party, TMZ spotted McMahon with a younger lady at the party. McMahon was getting inside a vehicle and covered his facing face.
