Vince McMahon Issues Statement after Nick Khan Joins as the “Role”

In a recent post on Twitter, WWE announced some big news and a structural change in its staff. This news came as a welcome change to most fans. 

The news was that former Co-Head of Television at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has now been appointed as President & Chief Revenue Officer. He will now be reporting directly to Vince McMahon who is the chairman and CEO of the company.

Vince McMahon released a statement following the announcement about why Khan was chosen for the prestigious role.

“Nick is a seasoned media executive with a deep understanding of our business and a proven track record of generating significant value for sports and entertainment properties,” explains McMahon. “While representing WWE at CAA, he was instrumental in transforming our business model by securing domestic media rights increases of 3.6X over our previous agreements.”

“Nick’s management style and personal demeanor are perfect for WWE’s entrepreneurial culture. He will fit right in with our exceptional management team,” concluded McMahon.

Nick Khan is optimistic about his future in WWE

Obviously delighted with the news, Khan may already be settling into his new post. He now occupies a top position in the company. He too released a statement following the announcement.

Khan has been successfully doing what he does since 2006 and is most probably the perfect guy for the job. WWE may have just struck gold by placing him in a position like that. Nick Khan can be the pioneer behind a lot of changes in WWE.
