There are several stories circling around the pro-wrestling industry wherein multiple WWE superstars and former champions say that WWE chairman, Vince McMahon has quite the ego.

However, the first-ever winner of “The Queen’s Tournament” Zelina Vega revealed a story that showed the different side of the boss, McMahon that not a lot of people talk about.

WWE fired Zelina Vega from the main roster last year after the WWE creative team didn’t have plans for her in the women’s division. However, fast-forward to the next year and Vega is a regular face of Monday Night Raw.

Vince McMahon surprised Zelina Vega

In September, the WWE Universe wondered why Zelina Vega was pulled from the WWE Friday Night SmackDown show on the evening of September 11.

The reason the WWE suffered the backlash of Vega not being on SmackDown was that Vega’s father was one of the victims of the terrorist attacks on 9/11/01 and the world wanted to see it.

“When it got cut, Vince called me and apologized because he wanted to make sure that I knew ‘listen, this wasn’t done to you personally or anything, it was literally just this [the time], I had to make that call and I’m so sorry.’ And people don’t know that side either.” she said.

It’s good to hear about such stories of Vince McMahon and it feels like there is another side of the boss and the WWE Universe would like to know some of it.
