Angel has been the NXT Cruiserweight Champion since defeating Lio Rush. Later, Angel Garza debuted on the main roster alongside Andrade and Zelina Vega working together in an alliance. He debuted on the Raw brand against his cousin Humberto Carillo.

His Raw roster run with Andrade didn’t last long because of miscommunications and conflicts between the two men. Angel has good wrestling skills to show off, which can help him get a further push on the main roster.

Currently, he is in a tag team alliance with his real-life cousin Humberto Carillo on the Friday Night SmackDown roster. Both men have also got a new tag team name called ‘Los Lotharios’.

In the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, he defeated Rick Boogs. Also, he was a part of the battle royal for the No.1 Contender to face the Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
