Vince McMahon’s Current Thoughts About WWE Reportedly Didn’t Sit Well With Triple H and Former Member

WWE is arguably one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the industry. It has years of success to its name and is also one of the most popular promotions in the world. Vince McMahon bought the company from his father and turned it into what it is today.

However, Vince McMahon is a very controversial man. Last year, after getting indulged in various controversies and scandals, McMahon had to retire from the company. His daughter, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan became the Co-CEOs, while Triple H became the content head.

However, after a six-month hiatus, January 2023 began with a shocker. Early this year, Vince McMahon showed his interest in returning to WWE, and on similar paths, he did return to the company, and joined the Board, as well as became the chairman.

However, his intention to return has also been linked with Vince McMahon’s intentions of selling off the company to a Saudi Arabian company.

However, as soon as McMahon’s desires to return to WWE was announced, fans became wary of that. Ever since Triple H took over, WWE fans have been loving the content that he has shown. However, apart from the fans, the latest reports also suggest two internal entities opposing WWE’s intention to sell.

Reports suggest that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were against and opposing Vince McMahon’s intention to sell off the company. Axios reported that both the husband-wife duo of Levesque and McMahon opposed the idea of the sale.

However, no sooner did Vince McMahon announced his return, Stephanie McMahon retired from the position of Co-CEO.

Is Stephanie McMahon’s resignation related to Vince McMahon’s return?

Recently, Vince McMahon made his way into WWE’s Board of directors again, and was also appointed the chairman.

However, his return to WWE saw some massive changes taking place. While, it was Vince McMahon who used his power to fire two members of the board, and rehire former employees loyal to him.

His return also matched and coincided with Stephanie McMahon’s resignation. However, many suspect that it was McMahon’s return that compelled his daughter to resign. While others theorize, it was Stephanie McMahon’s injury that made her resign.

She recently took to social media to announce her foot injury, and she would be going into rehab. WWE Fans can only hope for the better right now. However, it is still not confirmed when the fans can see Stephanie McMahon return.
